Who we are

We’re NerdyNI, and we’re building the nerdy Northern Ireland we all deserve.

A ragtag crew of quizmasters, tech-whizzes, cosplayers, gamers, film buffs, comic hoarders, and all-round pop culture fiends. Different backgrounds, different fandoms, same mission. We’re here for the big moments, the niche obsessions, and everything in between. We build to celebrate geek culture and so you can feel like you belong.

Our Story

After the pandemic, Northern Ireland Nerds and Sub-Communities where scattered (more than usual). So I launched the Belfast Nerd Pub Quiz to bring people together.

It took off. The demand, the costumes, the community… it was electric.

Now we’re on a mission to create events that celebrate fandoms, forge friendships, and make Northern Ireland feel like home for every nerd.

Big cities don’t own the culture. We’re building our own right here.

We bring nerdy events to Northern Ireland so every fan feels seen, valued, and free to celebrate what they love.

From pub quizzes to cosplay meetups, we’re here to connect communities, spark friendships, and showcase the best of local geek culture. We also spotlight projects making a difference, because building culture means lifting each other up.

    With over a decade turning nerdy passions into a career, Callum’s worked on huge YouTube channels like WatchMojo and supported some of the biggest nerdy and tech conventions and charities in this wee country. Now he’s bringing that experience home, focusing on what the people of Northern Ireland actually want.
